Ferrari F12 TDF
Ferrari F12 TDF
The Ferrari F12tdf is a radical and highly exclusive version of the F12berlinetta, unveiled in 2015 and produced in just 799 units. Its “tdf” name pays tribute to the legendary Tour de France Automobile, an endurance road race dominated by Ferrari during the 1950s and 1960s, notably with the iconic 250 GT. This special series therefore embodies the connection between Ferrari’s racing heritage and the performance of its modern road cars.
The F12tdf represents one of the most extreme interpretations of Ferrari’s front-engined V12 berlinetta concept. Lighter, more powerful and extensively re-engineered compared with the F12berlinetta, it was developed to deliver a driving experience much closer to that of a racing car while remaining fully road legal.

The Ferrari F12tdf is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.3-litre V12 engine producing 780 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 705 Nm of torque. Combined with a specially recalibrated dual-clutch gearbox, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 7.9 seconds, with a top speed of over 340 km/h.
The F12tdf also benefits from extensive weight reduction and aerodynamic optimisation. Its handling was transformed by the introduction of Ferrari’s “Virtual Short Wheelbase” rear-wheel-steering system, known as Passo Corto Virtuale, developed to improve both turn-in agility and high-speed stability. Its track width, tyres, suspension, aerodynamics and electronic systems were also specifically adapted to match its exceptional level of performance.
The interior retains the overall architecture of the F12berlinetta while adopting a far more focused and radical configuration, with extensive use of carbon fibre, Alcantara and lightweight materials. The cabin deliberately prioritises performance and driver engagement while retaining the craftsmanship and exclusivity associated with Ferrari’s V12 models.
Produced in just 799 examples, with production completed in 2017, the F12tdf occupies a special place in Ferrari’s recent history. It combines a highly powerful naturally aspirated V12, extremely limited production and a direct connection to the brand’s motorsport heritage, making it one of the most iconic special-series models derived from Ferrari’s front-engined V12 berlinettas.
