Beneath the hood, the PureSpeed inherits the proven 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 from the SL 63 AMG, producing 585 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, channeled to all four wheels via the 9-speed AMG Speedshift MCT transmission and 4MATIC+ technology. This setup allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 315 km/h—remarkable figures for a car without a windshield. Aerodynamics have been carefully engineered: the active rear wing, diffuser, and sculpted air intakes optimize airflow, generating downforce to compensate for the absence of a roof and ensuring perfect stability.

The most striking feature of the PureSpeed is its HALO system, directly inspired by Formula 1, which replaces the windshield and provides structured protection for occupants, complemented by specially designed aerodynamic helmets.
